Mini Ring‑Die Pellet Mill

Mini Biomass Ring Die Pellet Mill Sawdust Wood Pellet Making Machine MORETHAN Machinery

Description

This mini vertical ring‑die pellet mill features a compact structure, specially built for small‑scale biomass fuel production.
It can turn sawdust, wood shavings, crop straw, rice husk and other agricultural residues into high‑density solid fuel pellets.
Gear‑driven transmission guarantees stable operation and low failure rate, which makes it a perfect choice for family farms, small‑scale workshops and home‑based pellet‑making projects.

Core Features

1.Vertical ring‑die structure, good material dispersion, uniform pellet forming

2.Integral gear reducer drive, no belt slipping, lower energy loss

3.Hardened ring die & roller, long service life, easy replacement

4.Small footprint, easy installation, less foundation requirement

5.Pellet size adjustable by changing ring‑die (6‑8‑10mm optional)

6.Suitable for multiple biomass raw materials

Applicable Raw Materials

Sawdust, wood shavings, wood chips, crop straw, rice husk, peanut shell, bamboo scraps and other agricultural biomass residues.

Optimal raw‑material moisture: 12%‑18%. Materials over‑wet or over‑dry will affect pellet quality.

Working Principle

Raw‑materials such as sawdust, straw and rice husk are fed from the feed‑inlet and fall into the ring‑die pelletizing chamber by gravity.
Driven by the heavy‑duty gear‑reducer, the internal pressure‑rollers rotate continuously.
The rollers squeeze biomass materials forcibly through the holes of the ring‑die.
Under high‑temperature compression, loose raw‑materials are fully densified and extruded into solid biomass strands.
The built‑in cutter cuts extruded strands into pellets of fixed‑length.
Finished pellets are discharged from the outlet for collection or subsequent cooling treatment.

FAQ

Q1: What moisture of raw material is required?

A: 12‑18% is best for stable pellet output. Too wet or too dry will cause bad pellet quality.

Q2: Can I change pellet size?

A: Yes, replace different ring‑dies to get 6/8/10 mm pellets.

Q3: What’s the difference between mini ring‑die pellet mill and flat‑die pellet machine?

A: This vertical ring‑die model runs with gear‑reducer drive, supports longer‑time continuous‑shift work, and is more suitable for hard‑fiber raw‑materials such as branches and hardwood sawdust. Flat‑die machines are usually better for short‑time intermittent operation.

Q4: Does this machine need extra cooling equipment?

A: For small‑capacity production (300‑700kg/h), finished pellets can cool naturally in open‑air. A separate pellet cooler is recommended for 8+ hours of non‑stop daily production.

Q5: What’s the service life of ring‑die and roller?

A: Under normal working‑conditions with qualified raw‑materials, the service‑life of alloy‑steel ring‑die is 800‑1500 working hours. Spare ring‑dies and rollers are available for separate purchase.

Q6: Can this machine run with diesel engine instead of electric motor?

A: Yes, diesel‑powered version is optional. Please tell our sales team your local power‑supply condition.

Q7: Is on‑site installation service available?

A: We provide detailed English operation‑manual and installation video. Overseas engineer on‑site service can be arranged upon request.

Q8: What’s your warranty period?

A: 12‑month warranty for the whole machine (excluding quick‑wearing spare‑parts like ring‑die, roller). Lifetime technical‑support is provided.
